Like so many places in New York City from the outside it looks not really impressive, typical brown stone factory building in the middle of the old and industrial part of LIC, Queens.
Entering it, you are thrown back to another century. Very vintage look and you have to imagine how many stories this wedding venue could tell having an over 100 years history. And celebrating the wedding of Yvonne & Jack with family and friends in this wonderful building fitted just perfectly. Filled with excitement for the big day finally be there, we started early to took full advantage of all floors that this wedding venue had to offer.
The main (2nd Floor) is a perfect surrounding for the reception, ceremony and even the dinner depending on your wedding party size. The whole place is aerie, full of earthy colors, brick walls and has beautiful wooden floors. You can spot the Queensboro Bridge from out the windows, so you can feel very much in the middle of NYC.
The 3rd Floor is a photographers paradise. A floor filled with antiques, mirrors and props, that helps creates very special vintage atmosphere for wedding pictures. Also available a piano, a red room for the bride to get ready and just many square feet to get couple pictures as well as huge groups and family portraits.
And if you need more space for your wedding, you can also rent the 4th Floor which offers more space for a bigger wedding party. It is just that we can highly recommend this place as this has such a variety to offer.
