A perfect day in Central Park for the wedding of Sabrina & Edin. The days before the elopement it was very unstable and I had the little fear that we get really bad weather, which makes a wedding ceremony at Ladies Pavilion a bit uncomfortable.
On the morning of the wedding the sky cleared up, the temperatures rose and the Central Park really presented itself in the best light. The leaves had already discolored – the scenery was just amazing.
The Ladies Pavilion beautifully situated on a rocky landscape at the lake with panoramic views of the New York skyline. The sun was shining with the bride and groom and it was a relaxing and beautiful wedding ceremony attended by a saxophone player.
After the ceremony we have made a long walk through the park and shot the wedding pictures in all different settings. There is so much to discover in Central Park. And we had one special eye catcher on this wedding day: we were photo bombed!
The weather was so unique and it was high wedding season so that it had attracted many weddings in Central Park. While I wanted to take relaxed pictures of the newlyweds walking down the Mall in Central Park a bunch of groomsmen just crushed the picture especially with their so cool socks.
We were very surprised but it ended with a lot of laughter.
What a great day!
